This handknotted Heris rugs are Persian rugs from the area of Heris, East Azerbaijan in northwest Iran, northeast of Tabriz. Such rugs are produced in the village of the same name in the slopes of Mount Sabalan. Heriz carpets are durable and hard-wearing and they can last for generations.
Estas alfombras Heriz anudadas a mano son alfombras persas del área de Heris, este de Azerbaiyán, en el noroeste de Irán, al noreste de Tabriz. Estas alfombras se producen en el pueblo del mismo nombre en las laderas del monte Sabalan. Las alfombras Heriz son duraderas y resistentes y pueden durar generaciones.
Ces tapis Heriz noués à la main sont des tapis persans de la région de Heris, en Azerbaïdjan oriental, dans le nord-ouest de l’Iran, au nord-est de Tabriz. Ces tapis sont produits dans le village du même nom sur les pentes du mont Sabalan. Les tapis Heriz sont durables et résistants et peuvent durer des générations.
