The handicraft of Galamkar has been common in Iran since the patriarchal period, because during the mentioned period, due to the support of the Mongol dynasty of Chinese patterned fabrics ,which were extremely popular in Iranian markets, but the Iranians also competed with the Chinese. To attract the attention of the Mongols, they undertook initiatives, including the invention of painting on cloth with a handmade Stamp with special and traditional patterns.
