Kalat Kilim

Kalat Kilim is a special art of unique weaving to show greatness to women of Northern Khorasan in eastern Iran. the pattern is like Antolian Kilim.Rural women and nomads create unique designs on carpets depending on their feelings, opinions and mental ideas. Using the method of carpet weaving, weavers create various plant, animal and abstract motifs in the form of simple geometric shapes on the carpet. In kilim weaving, the pattern of the work is usually designed in the form of colorful horizontal lines.
